Welcome Pastor Carmine and Morgan to Valleyview!
They’ve just arrived from Los Angeles where Carmine recently graduated from The Master’s Seminary. His official start date is Sunday, June 1st, 2025. We’ve eagerly awaited their arrival and now they’re here!
We pray with great confidence because of his great glory and grace that The Lord will continue to, “…bless you and keep you (and) make his face shine on you and be gracious to you…” as you follow his calling by stepping into the pastorate.
“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”…
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!…
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”

Elders are entrusted with the glorious privilege and sober responsibility of caring for and leading the people whom Jesus purchased with his own blood (Acts 20:28). They must be qualified men who are able to faithfully minister the Word of God, set an example for the flock, and exercise authority, all in accordance with the Scriptures. As those who will give an account for their leadership of God’s people (James 3:1), elders are dependent upon the grace of God in Christ and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Although the language on our website differentiates between vocational elders (pastors) and non-vocational elders, it’s important to note that these are not two different offices or roles. As 1 Peter 5:1-2 and Acts 20:28 make clear, elders are those who pastor the church and provide oversight.
