The ministry and mission of the local church is not to be carried out by a select few but by the involvement of all the members of the church. The church grows and matures in the Lord as each person is equipped to serve and encourage others (Ephesians 4:11-17). Using our gifts and abilities to serve others is an important way that we learn to faithfully follow the example set for us by Jesus (Mark 10:45). One way to serve others in the church is by getting involved with a service team.
Service teams include:
Coffee
Providing coffee, tea, and occasional light snacks for those who gather with us on Sunday mornings.
Communion
Preparing the elements for communion.
Events
Working together with others to plan and put together various events that help bring us together as a church and/or connect with our community.
Facilities
This team serves by providing building maintenance, weekly cleaning, preparation for our Sunday gatherings, and occasional needed work around the property.
Kids
Serving as teachers and teacher’s assistants for the ministry to the children of the church.
Youth
Helping to disciple youth by participating in regular youth gatherings and events
Prayer
Be a committed member of our prayer team by praying for prayer requests that come in to the church office and/or praying with people on Sunday mornings after the gathering.
Tech
