This ministry seeks to serve attenders of Valleyview Bible Church services by controlling and displaying multimedia content to help attenders engage in the service appealing to an increasingly technology-centric culture.

Description: The multimedia team is responsible for controlling and displaying multimedia content during church services and other events (e.g. Easter Service, banquets, etc.). This generally includes displaying PowerPoint files, song lyrics, and videos on projectors, as well as playing music and controlling stage lighting.
Purpose: To aid in engaging the congregation in the service and to appeal to an increasingly technology-centric culture.

Ways to Serve: Inquire about taking a ‘test-drive’ serving in an entry-level role that interests you and makes use of your gifts and skills.
Entry Level: Help by assisting with ‘behind the scenes’ service preparation or job shadow a multimedia volunteer during a service.
- Who is eligible? Attenders at Valleyview who have an interest in and a firm grasp of technology and computers in a Windows environment. Familiarity with PowerPoint is a definite asset, but not required.
Leading Level: Volunteer during services and help recruit and train other volunteers in multimedia.

Due to the highly visible and potentially distracting nature of this ministry, the ability to remain calm and logical under stress is important.
How can one begin the process of serving? Contact a ministry leader to arrange a time for a tour of the multimedia booth and to job-shadow during a Sunday service. Training may commence following.
