I love being a pastor! What an awesome privilege to be able to care for people and make a difference in their lives! My wife Berni and I have been in pastoral ministry for approximately 25 years. We love people and love seeing people discover a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We have three grown children. One is living with us and two are married. We recently entered the world of grandparenting! There is nothing like seeing your grand daughter sit on you lap and giggle at you. I enjoy hunting and particularly riding my quad. We both enjoy our camping and traveling. For exercise I do hiking and enjoying God's creation.
Valleyview is a very caring and accepting group of people. God is using us to do things that really matter and I look forward to what He is going to do through us together in days to come!
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to check out Valleyview Bible Church. Valleyview has been my home church since 1998 and I have seen God do some incredible things and change countless lives in that time; My own included. At a young age, God gave me a passion to care for His people which lead me into the nursing profession. Since then I have enjoyed seven years of caring for the elderly and their families. Well….it appears that God has a change of plans for my family and I. My wife Dana and I recently welcomed our first child, our daughter Rory in to the world and are overjoyed to be parents. Together we are excited to have the opportunity to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to our church’s youth, young adults, and anyone else God plans to put in our path.
What do I do here at Valleyview? God has recently called me into pastoral ministry after twelve plus years of volunteer work with our church’s youth, young adult and worship ministries. I am blessed to be able to dedicate the majority of my time to studying and teaching God’s word. To be able to have an influence in a young person’s life and to share Jesus with them is humbling and incredibly rewarding. I’ll never forget my mom’s words when I was excitedly telling her about how my youth pastor had helped change my life. “The best way to say thank you is to make sure that you do the same for someone else one day!” That was the beginning of God telling me to surrender my life to His work.
It’s my hope and prayer that God and Valleyview Bible Church can be a blessing to you. Give us a call, send us an email, or better yet, come out and see us. We’d love to meet you!
